About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Banking Professional to join our team as a Relationship Banker. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with customers and help them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing personalized solutions.
  • Product and Service Offerings: Identify opportunities to offer a range of Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products and services to customers.
  • Business Development: Analyze business challenges and develop strategies to grow the business and meet customer needs.
  • Account Management: Open and service accounts within authorized limits, create plans for follow-up and scheduled contacts with customers.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a strong understanding of risk management and loss prevention.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Assessment and Resolution: 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution, demonstrated through work or military experience.
  • Relationship Building: 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners.
Desired Qualifications
  • FINRA Registration: Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration.
  • State Insurance License: State Insurance license(s) are required for this role and must be completed within a specified period.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge and understanding of book of business processes to actively manage a group of Wells Fargo customers to meet their needs and grow the business.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
