The role of the APG Mechanic involves extensive mechanical tasks focused on diagnosing issues and performing necessary maintenance on aircraft systems. This position requires adherence to technical specifications, engineering guidelines, and FAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough diagnostics of aircraft malfunctions.
- Perform maintenance tasks including disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, and adjustment of various aircraft systems.
- Engage in system testing, test runs, troubleshooting, and launch and recovery operations.
- Manage towing and marshalling of aircraft for flight operations.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess significant experience on the F-16 production flight line, specifically in heavy maintenance roles. A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is mandatory.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a 4/10 work schedule. Availability for either 1st or 2nd shift is essential:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
Additional Information:
