Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structural Mechanic to join our team at Strategic Support Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to aircraft sheet metal systems, including stripping paint materials, corrosion repair, and structural repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and evaluate structural damage to aircraft sheet metal systems
  • Prepare composite surfaces using state-of-the-art materials and methods
  • Perform modifications and structural repairs to aircraft panels and structural components
  • Use common tools such as hammers, punches, pneumatic drill motors, and rivet guns
  • Read and follow technical data, blueprints, and standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • 3 years of continuous and recent experience in aircraft sheet metal/structural repair
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license preferred
  • Ability to read and follow technical data, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
  • Knowledge of King Air airframes or military equivalent, T-44 or C-12 a plus
