Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Systems Specialist to join our team at NESCO Inc. as a Final Assembly and Checkout Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* System checkouts, major system installs, and Wing installs on F-16 Aircraft.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems, including landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, rigging, and aircraft movement.
* Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with FAA regulations.
* Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a crew chief, plane captain, and/or A&P mechanic with solid aircraft maintenance experience.
* F-16 or related fighter experience desired.
* Strong aviation background and knowledge of aircraft systems operation and maintenance.
* Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
