About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the ICCU department at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of experience in CVICU, CCU, or Cardiac specific critical care, with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICCU setting
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize temporary pacers for 50% of patients, with a focus on patient safety and well-being
- Care for stroke patients, with a focus on timely and effective treatment
Requirements:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in CVICU, CCU, or Cardiac specific critical care
- Experience with temporary pacers and stroke patient care
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification
- Ability to float to other units as needed
