CompensationWe offer a competitive salary package that reflects the value of your skills and experience. For eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of RN experience, we offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus, while those with greater than 2 years of RN experience receive a $20,000 bonus. Bonus amounts are prorated for part-time hires, and per diem hires are not eligible. Current MaineHealth member employees and former members who separated from employment less than 6 months ago are also ineligible.
About the RoleThe Registered Nurse II - Acute Care - Operating Room is responsible for the management of patient care, including clinical nursing practice, leadership, management, professionalism, and growth/development. This role involves independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. To be successful, you'll need to demonstrate competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse - Acute Care role and meet specific requirements outlined below.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Education: A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- License/Certifications: A current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse is required, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- Experience: One year of RN experience is required, demonstrating competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse - Acute Care role.
