Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at MaineHealth as a Registered Nurse II - Acute Care - MCH. This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Care department, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Monitor patient progress, identify areas for improvement, and make adjustments to care plans as needed
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a current applicable state license as a Registered Professional Nurse and current BLS certification. One year of RN experience is required, with competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse - Acute Care role. Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women is also required.
