Vascular Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams in a timely manner, working collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of patient care.
Responsibilities- Identify upper/lower extremity venous anatomy and perform upper/lower extremity Venous Duplex protocol for DVT.
- Identify extra cranial and intracranial anatomy and perform Carotid Duplex exam protocol.
- Operate complex measurement and Doppler programs to consistently produce scans of optimal diagnostic quality.
- Complete quality scans in a timely manner, effectively organize and prioritize workflow to meet STAT and urgent demands.
- Assist physicians performing invasive exams and complete required documentation on forms, logs, and in computer.
We are looking for a candidate with a Certificate of successful completion from an accredited school of vascular ultrasound and Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound. Preferred experience includes one year of previous experience in Vascular Ultrasound. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
