Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Final Assembly Technician plays a crucial role in the production of generator units ranging from 2KW to 350KW, including various configurations such as portable, air-cooled, water-cooled, and PTO models. This position involves the operation of machinery and tools, including overhead hoists, power tools, and torque wrenches, ensuring precision in assembly tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Final Assembly Technician include:

  • Collaborating with the Production Supervisor to meet assembly goals.
  • Executing assembly tasks with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Conducting teardown and rebuild processes while adhering to strict inspection standards.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications effectively.
  • Utilizing overhead lifts or cranes safely during assembly operations.
  • Maintaining a high level of safety and quality throughout the assembly process.
  • Assisting fellow team members and other departments as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role involves interaction with various internal teams, including Sub Assembly, Engineering, Testing, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, fostering a collaborative work environment.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary to support the overall production process.
