Responsibilities
  • Delivering exceptional nursing care in post-acute settings, such as skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities
  • Administering tailored treatments and medications to patients
  • Collaborating with residents and medical teams to develop comprehensive care plans
  • Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
  • Discussing care options with patients and their families
  • Consulting with physicians and healthcare staff as necessary
  • Collecting blood, urine, and other samples for laboratory analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and facility policies
  • Accurately documenting interventions and patient histories
  • Assisting in investigations of incidents and ensuring proper reporting
  • Training and supervising nursing staff
Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid Illinois state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of 4 months of experience in post-acute care or inpatient hospital settings
  • Strong organizational skills
