Educational Support Specialist - Full-Time

ABOUT US

Hope Services is dedicated to delivering clinical, educational, and therapeutic support for individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our goal is to offer exceptional services in the most inclusive settings, empowering individuals to achieve their unique potential through evidence-based practices, advocacy, and community outreach.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Must hold or be in the process of obtaining a Paraprofessional license for the state.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Successful completion of background checks, physical assessments, agility tests, and drug/alcohol screenings.
  • Capability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, grasp, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl, and run.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist students within a classroom environment at the Hope Learning Academy while accurately tracking and entering data.
  • Deliver instruction and support aligned with students' Individual Education Plan (IEP) objectives.
  • Promote student autonomy while adhering to the classroom schedule and executing educational programs.
  • Create a dynamic, inclusive, and secure learning atmosphere for all students.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education or a related human services field.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Prior experience in a classroom setting.
