Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Carrier to join our team at Sierra. As a Key Carrier, you will play a critical role in maintaining the overall success of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
- Act as a role model for our store team, promoting a culture of honesty and integrity and maintaining confidentiality.
- Assume Manager on Duty responsibilities, adhering to company policy and procedure and ensuring that our store is run in accordance with our standards.
- Ensure that our store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with our store plan, prioritizing as needed and addressing immediate customer service issues.
- Exercise discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers, while maintaining our company's standards and procedures.
- Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Ensure that our Associates adhere to all operational procedures and that opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities and providing progress updates.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, and provide feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates.
- Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs, and support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
- Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks.
- Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances.
- Capable of multi-tasking.
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- 1 year retail experience, 6 months leadership experience.
