Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Carrier to join our team at Sierra. As a Key Carrier, you will play a critical role in maintaining the overall success of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Act as a role model for our store team, promoting a culture of honesty and integrity and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assume Manager on Duty responsibilities, adhering to company policy and procedure and ensuring that our store is run in accordance with our standards.
  • Ensure that our store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with our store plan, prioritizing as needed and addressing immediate customer service issues.
  • Exercise discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers, while maintaining our company's standards and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Ensure that our Associates adhere to all operational procedures and that opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities and providing progress updates.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, and provide feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates.
  • Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, and support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs.
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks.
  • Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • 1 year retail experience, 6 months leadership experience.

Compensation

This position has a starting pay range of $ to $ per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
