Lead Technical Training Content Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Content Developer Sr to join our team at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As a key member of our Organizational Development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training content to support the implementation of our Learning Management System (LMS).
Key Responsibilities- Training Program Design: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs for our end-users, including cut-over training for Workday and post-implementation training.
- Content Development: Create engaging and effective learning materials, including virtual training, facilitated instructor-led training, job aids, and e-learning modules.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Workday implementation project workstream leads to identify training needs and develop solutions that support business goals.
- Facilitation: Deliver advanced training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience.
- LMS Management: Administer and maintain the LMS, including user account management, course uploads, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Content Management: Oversee the upload, testing, and updating of e-learning content, ensuring that courses are functioning correctly and meeting organizational standards.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze reports on user engagement, course completion, and other key metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Integration: Work with IT and other departments to integrate the LMS with other systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with LMS updates, upgrades, and new features, and implement them as necessary to improve system performance.
- Education: Master's Degree in Education (e.g., instructional design, curriculum and instruction, cognition and learning, adult learning, information science)
- Experience: 6 years of progressive training experience building virtual and facilitated training content for ERP applications, preferably with experience with ERPs such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or Oracle Cloud ERP, Learning Management Systems, MS Teams, Adobe Presenter, or similar applications.
- Skills: Experience with popular learning management system platforms, proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, excellent organization, project management, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills, creative problem-solving, and attention to detail.
