Training and Development Specialist

Crisis Prevention Institute is seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering specialized support to Certified Instructors regarding the delivery of CPI training, standards, compliance, and implementation efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and consultation to CIs on the delivery of CPI training, standards, and implementation efforts.
- Deliver CPI's virtual programming, including Specialty Topic Instructor Certification and Renewal Programs.
- Collaborate with Territory Account Managers to understand customer needs and provide content expertise.
- Serve as an internal training subject matter expert for program and product development initiatives.
- Assure CIs understand how to effectively use CPI's tools and resources to support the successful delivery of training.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of CPI's programs, events, policies, and procedures.
- Seek input from CIs and collaborate with internal departments to improve existing tools and resources.
- Deliver Instructor Certification Program (ICP) and Specialty Topic virtual training in one or more specialty areas.
- Facilitate virtual workshops linked to online enrichment modules.
- Effectively moderate Community of Practice live events and manage online communities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support the review of CI satisfaction surveys and act on insights to improve the CI experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a human service or communication-related field.
- Three years or more delivering training through virtual channels.
- Experience working with the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program.
- Experience working in one or more of the following areas: Special Education/Autism Spectrum Disorder, Trauma, Mental Health, Security/Advanced Physical Skills, Dementia.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Knowledge of CPI's programs and corresponding disengagement and holding skills.
- Ability to travel at least quarterly and attend GPI Development Events.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-function team.
- $70,000 - $75,000 annual salary.
