Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at a Level II Trauma Center.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to work in our Sterile Processing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and sterilizing medical instruments, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the Sterile Processing department
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience in Sterile Processing or a related field
  • Knowledge of sterilization and decontamination procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
