- Ensuring compliance with salvage regulations according to state laws and effectively negotiating upfront storage and rental costs.
- Conducting thorough investigations of claims, including reserving assessments and resolutions.
- Overseeing the utilization, output, and expenses associated with external vendors.
- Building and nurturing robust business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Engaging actively in committees and project task forces.
- In-depth expertise in all facets of claims adjustment, particularly in total loss management and salvage/compliance standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of contracts, investigative methodologies, legal obligations, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficient in collaborating effectively with diverse individuals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and interpret complex information.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A collaborative team player.
- Creative thinker with strong multitasking capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3-4 years in insurance claims management.
- Thorough understanding of auto claims processes.
- Preferred current adjuster license across all states; willingness to acquire additional state licenses is essential.
