Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Medication Order Processing Specialist. This position provides a unique opportunity for professional growth and hands-on training in a dynamic pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responding to incoming calls from healthcare facilities, assessing concerns, and directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Initiating calls to clarify any outstanding prescription matters with facilities.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of pharmacy and admissions logs.
  • Coordinating with backup pharmacies and courier services for urgent medication deliveries.
  • Collaborating closely with pharmacists to manage daily operational tasks.
  • Upholding our commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Ensuring a seamless medication order experience, leveraging knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and practices.

Qualifications:
Experience in a pharmacy technician role is preferred, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy. While medical record certification is advantageous, it is not mandatory.

Work Environment:
This position is office-based and may require evening shifts, holiday work, and occasional weekends.
