We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant I to join our team at UNC Health. As a Nursing Assistant I, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including vital sign measurements, specimen collection, and wound care.
  • Support patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document patient information and report significant changes to the registered nurse or physician.
Requirements
  • Listing as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Prefer six (6) months of nursing assistant experience.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English language and able to develop basic computer skills.
