The University of Tampa is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Assistant I to provide administrative support to the Development and University Relations team. This role will assist development officers and alumni relations staff with various tasks, including gift processing, meeting/event preparation, and data entry.
Responsibilities- Provide front desk support and manage department emails
- Manage booking of department conference room and cross-train with Advancement Services Specialist
- Assist with meeting/event preparation and provide clerical support to development officers and alumni team
- Take RSVPs for events and functions, take and forward messages, and assist with data entry and reporting processes
- Serve as back-up in managing student workers and interface with UT community and public
- High school diploma required, some college or professional educational courses preferred
- Two years of office clerical experience required, previous experience in an academic setting preferred
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) required, experience with a CMS (content management system) a plus
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and customer service skills required, ability to multi-task and attention to detail necessary
