Meat Industry Business Development Expert

About MANDA FINE MEATS: Founded in 1947 by the Manda Brothers, our company focuses on hard work, quality products, and strong community relationships. We offer a unique blend of Sicilian and Cajun influences in our smoked sausages, andouille, boudin, hog head cheese, and deli meats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our food service customer base in the Memphis, TN market.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and Director of Food Service Sales to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, food service brokers, and distributors.
- Partner with food service brokers and distributors to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives and meet or exceed annual sales goals.
- Stay up-to-date on category-specific landscapes and trends.
- Grow our business with existing distributors while creating new distributor relationships.
- Focus on targeted account development to grow new business.
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years total sales experience, meat sales preferred.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidates must be based in Memphis, TN to be considered.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 Annually
