About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society - Ambassador in New Hope, MN. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality food to our patients, residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including baked goods, soups, and entrees, following standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines.
  • Ensure food quality standards are met, including appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation.
  • Perform washing and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary cooking and serving environment.
  • Label and store food, equipment, and machinery properly.
  • Work effectively with internal customers, requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
  • Basic math skills to measure ingredients accurately.
  • Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.
