About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at UCHealth. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Ensure the good working order of equipment and instruments, and assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
  • Pass instruments to the physician during surgery, and continually account for the number and location of instruments and supplies.
  • Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
  • Exercise critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, or military training.
  • State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
  • At least 6 months of Surgical Tech experience or graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program.
