Job Overview

New Season Treatment Centers have been a prominent provider in the healthcare sector for over three decades, specializing in outpatient facilities that deliver safe and high-quality care for individuals dealing with Opioid Use Disorder ("OUD").

With operations spanning more than 70 centers across various states, our dedicated team engages in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and comprehensive care management for those affected by OUD. We adopt a holistic approach, addressing the root causes of OUD to provide a seamless continuum of care that not only meets treatment requirements but also supports patients on their recovery journey.

Position Summary:

Supervise the daily operations of clinical staff to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as compliance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with leadership to enhance counseling skills and the quality of care provided to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and company regulations while operating within the clinic's budget.
  • Keep management informed of significant treatment events and make appropriate recommendations for resolution.
  • Assist with quarterly quality assurance program evaluations.
  • Support the achievement and maintenance of accreditation status through recognized accrediting organizations.
  • Provide requested reports and documentation.
  • Offer clinical supervision to staff as necessary.
  • Review, sign, and date all required documentation.
  • Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
  • Report any instances of patient abuse, neglect, or exploitation as mandated.
  • Monitor patient activities within the center.
  • Engage in community relations initiatives as directed.
  • Ensure familiarity with the Policy and Procedures Manual.
  • Comply with confidentiality regulations and privacy laws.
  • Maintain appropriate licensure and/or certification as per state requirements.
  • Participate in preparation for surveys and inspections conducted by regulatory bodies.
  • Attend all staff meetings.
  • Act in the best interests of the organization, safeguarding proprietary data and rights.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • For Minnesota staff only: Complete the Freedom From Chemical Use Form.

Supervisory Duties:

Provide clinical oversight for counselors across multiple locations and may supervise a supervisory-level intern.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary competencies required.

Education/Certification: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required, along with necessary licensure and/or certification as mandated by state regulations. A Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.

Knowledge Required: A solid understanding of Opioid Addiction and Medication-Assisted Treatment services, along with knowledge of general counseling practices, confidentiality laws, and privacy regulations. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Google applications, is essential.

Preferred Experience: A minimum of two years of management experience and at least one year of experience in substance abuse or a related field.

Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, multitasking capabilities, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential. Proven leadership and time management skills are also required.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to function in an open office environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed to support multiple clinics.

Mental Activities:

Ability to solve practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Capability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form while maintaining confidentiality.

Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills are required.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, professional journals, and regulatory guidelines. Proficient in writing reports and business correspondence, as well as effectively presenting information to groups.
