Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate nucleic acid delivery constructs and optimize related protocols.
  • Troubleshoot experimental issues and visualize, summarize, and present results to team members.
  • Apply a systematic and rigorous approach to scientific research and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of academic or employment experience with evaluation and characterization techniques from cell and tissue samples.
  • Experience with in vitro characterization techniques, including cell culture and cell transfection.
  • Experience with in vitro/vivo endpoint analysis, including ELISA and qPCR.
  • Experience with immunohistochemistry and in vivo techniques, tissue collection, and molecular endpoints on tissue samples.
  • Experience with the formulation and analytical characterization of nucleic acids and nucleic acid-loaded nanoparticles.
  • Experience with DLS, SEC, and Ribogreen.
  • Experience with optimization of protocols for formulation of nucleic acid delivery constructs.
