Role Overview:

The Logistics Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for executing the physical and administrative tasks related to the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storage, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role also facilitates coordination among vendors, purchasing, and business partner teams. Additionally, the position entails performing administrative duties such as data processing, exception handling, and reporting, while engaging with clients through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • May assist with secondary tasks related to violation processing, data entry, quality assurance, and expedited handling.
  • Conduct administrative duties related to data entry, reporting, data reconciliation, electronic order processing, and tracking.
  • Manage email communications associated with order receipt.
  • Unpack and verify goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of received goods and manage damaged items.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for merchandise shipped.
  • Record weights and shipping costs, preparing goods for final dispatch.
  • Assemble kitting packages for customer orders.
  • Oversee final quality control and shipping processes for all outgoing shipments.
  • Inspect inventory and distribute materials accordingly.
  • Implement warehouse and inventory control processes, including auditing, cycle counting, and physical inventory management.
  • Execute inventory transactions promptly and accurately, including material returns to stock.
  • Coordinate carrier activities for inbound and outbound freight, ensuring all shipping documentation is accurate.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of Bill of Materials (BOM) for all part kits.
  • Support supervisors in managing inventory levels, material requests, orders, and work in progress, collaborating effectively with purchasing, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Generate reports and summaries for leadership to provide insights into inventory levels, order statuses, and expected delivery timelines.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in a mailroom or packaging environment.
  • Proficient in using various equipment, including computers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Able to navigate internet-based systems efficiently.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
