Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians in examining and treating animals, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by veterinarians, maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as blood work and X-rays, to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and successful outcome.
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients, providing critical care and support as needed.
- Educate clients on pet care and medical treatments, promoting a strong bond between pets and their owners.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring seamless communication between team members and clients.
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician/Nurse required, with a strong understanding of veterinary medicine and animal care.
- Valid Veterinary Technician/Nurse certification or licensure (not required but a plus), demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
- Excellent technical skills, including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory techniques, ensuring accurate and efficient patient care.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal care, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately, prioritizing patient and team safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work culture.
