The Research Specialist will work under general supervision to perform a variety of defined research and laboratory tests and experiments according to prescribed protocols and assigned schedules. This role will involve setting up experiments, maintaining records, and compiling data for publications and grants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and laboratory tests and experiments according to prescribed protocols and assigned schedules.
  • Set up experiments as prescribed by a principal investigator.
  • Maintain records, files, and logs of work performed in laboratory notebooks and computer databases.
  • Compile data and records results of studies for publications, grants, and seminar presentations.
  • Perform related responsibilities as required by principal investigator.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
