Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Foreman to join our team at Rusnak Auto Group. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Service Technicians to ensure vehicles are repaired to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Development
    • Lead and develop a team of Service Technicians to achieve individual and team goals.
    • Communicate objectives and strategic plans to team members.
    • Monitor reports and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive results.
    • Identify and implement best practices to eliminate roadblocks and enhance department performance.
  • Quality Repair Work and Procedure Management
    • Monitor survey responses to identify opportunities to enhance positive outcomes from repair activities.
    • Ensure correct and prescribed procedures are followed in all diagnosis and repair activities.
    • Proactively review Manufacturer publications and integrate current information into client interactions.
    • Conduct post-repair quality assurance tests to monitor quality of end product.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Monitor and understand relevant market economic trends.
    • Identify training and personnel development opportunities to enhance financial results.
    • Identify employee retention strategies to ensure workforce stability and development of core competencies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Foreman or similar position in the automotive industry.
  • Master Guild Level Experience, Technical School Diploma, and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification are desired.
  • Current California Driver License with a satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record is required.
Education

High School Diploma or GED is required.
