About the Role

Roto-Rooter Services Company is seeking a skilled Plumbing Service Technician to join our team. As an Apprentice Plumber/Service Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established national brand, providing top-notch service to residential and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing and drain problems for customers
  • Provide cost estimates and close sales
  • Clean and unclog sewers and drains using Roto-Rooter equipment and tools
  • Document estimates and invoices
  • Collect payment and move on to the next service call
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude (prior plumbing experience not necessary)
Compensation and Benefits

As a Roto-Rooter Service Technician, you will be paid an hourly rate of $17.00 to $20.00 during training, and an hourly rate at or above the minimum wage for all hours worked after training. You will also have the potential to earn commissions at the rate of 16-22% of revenue, depending on the revenue category.
