About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an experienced Master Engineer and Operations Manager to join our team at The Autograph Collection hotel in San Francisco.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, maintenance operations, and property management. As a Master Engineer and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring the physical plant is well-maintained, and that regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain accurate logs and records as required.
  2. Assist in effectively planning, scheduling, and evaluating preventative maintenance programs.
  3. Supervise the day-to-day operations of Engineering.
  4. Establish priorities for total property maintenance needs.
  5. Manage department's controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  6. Select and order or purchase new equipment, supplies, and furnishings.
  7. Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities in order to determine the type of work required.
  8. Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, and the replacement of furnishings and equipment.

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
  2. OR
  3. 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.

What We Offer
