About the Role
As a Lead Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be an integral part of our laboratory team, promoting a culture of teamwork, quality, and safety for our patients.
The Lead Medical Technologist will ensure compliance with all procedures set forth by manufacturers and regulatory bodies, while also overseeing the maintenance and monitoring of laboratory equipment to meet quality assurance standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in resolving departmental issues and complaints from physicians, patients, and staff.
- Conduct clinical laboratory testing in designated areas and review daily reports.
- Monitor quality control measures and document any variances.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on major automated equipment.
- Maintain adequate supply levels for the laboratory.
- Participate in inspections and communicate any laboratory operational concerns to management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) by ASCP or equivalent is required.
