About the Role

As a Lead or Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing lesson plans that promote school readiness, socialization, literacy, problem-solving, self-esteem, and other life skills.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program.
  • Providing individualized attention and support to children, addressing their unique needs and abilities.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment, adhering to state and federal regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a teacher in a licensed day care, childcare center, or preschool.
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (EDU 119, NCECC, or Associate Degree preferred).
  • Successful completion of a state background check and health assessments.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
