Job Title: Human Resources Generalist IAbout the Opportunity

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Esperanza Health Center. This role offers a chance to work in a collaborative environment, supporting key HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll processing, compliance, event planning, and administrative support.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2-3 years of HR experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Sourcing and recruiting applicants, expanding new sources, and strengthening Esperanza's networks.
  • Recruiting at job fairs, trade schools, colleges, churches, Christian organizations, etc.
  • All aspects of the recruiting cycle for open positions assigned by the HR Director.
  • Compliance:
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Payroll Processing:
  • Assisting with processing payroll in ADP, including adding new hires, creating change forms, and reviewing payroll for accuracy.
  • Distribution of manual checks, payroll forms and notices, tax documents, salary change letters, etc.
  • Providing excellent customer service for payroll and accrual questions.
About the Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $58,000-$68,000 based on industry standards and relevant factors.
