Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Halifax Health's Port Orange Medical/Surgical Unit. As a RN Resident, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, collect, and document data to identify nursing diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement individual patient care plans, ensuring effective discharge planning and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide responsible and accountable nursing care, adhering to established clinical nursing practice standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with peers and other professional disciplines, applying principles of leadership and assuming responsibility for professional growth and accountability.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Florida.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service and relationship-building.
