Job Summary:

Boise Centre is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our culinary team. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our commercial kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Operate industrial-size dishwashers to ensure all kitchenware meets Boise Centre's cleanliness standards.
  • Manage the setup and breakdown of dish stations for events, ensuring timely preparation and execution.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to provide exceptional service and support during high-profile events and daily activities.

Requirements:

  • Capable of physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and effective teamwork in a diverse environment.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in high-temperature settings.
  • Willingness to obtain ServSafe certification, if not already certified.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
