Patient Care Specialist

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in our Transitional Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
- Support the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient information and treatment data accurately and timely.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
- Successful completion of the organization's dialysis training program and CPR certification required.
