A healthcare client is seeking a skilled Travel Dialysis Patient Care Technician to provide direct patient care for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Location: Lebanon, IN 46052
Position: Travel Dialysis Patient Care Technician
Pay Rate: $34/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 13 weeks
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Accurately document patient treatment information.
- Assist licensed nurses with pre and post dialysis patient assessments and documentation.
- Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.
- Report significant patient information or changes in patient condition to the supervisor.
- Assist with emergency operational procedures and initiate basic CPR measures in the event of cardiac and/or pulmonary arrest.
- High school degree or G.E.D.
- Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred, but not required.
- Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
- Successful completion of CPR Certification.
