A healthcare client is seeking a skilled Travel Dialysis Patient Care Technician to provide direct patient care for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Location: Lebanon, IN 46052

Position: Travel Dialysis Patient Care Technician

Pay Rate: $34/hr. on W2 (DOE)

Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Accurately document patient treatment information.
  • Assist licensed nurses with pre and post dialysis patient assessments and documentation.
  • Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.
  • Report significant patient information or changes in patient condition to the supervisor.
  • Assist with emergency operational procedures and initiate basic CPR measures in the event of cardiac and/or pulmonary arrest.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school degree or G.E.D.
  • Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred, but not required.
  • Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
  • Successful completion of CPR Certification.
