About the Role

Avery Dennison is seeking a highly skilled Credit & Collections Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for proactively managing customer accounts receivables, analyzing business opportunities, and minimizing customer credit risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collection and Resolution: Responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable dollars from existing clients and resolving customer billing problems, reducing accounts receivable delinquency and bad debt.
  • Credit Risk Management: Identifies underlying issues delaying payment and coordinates internal resources to resolve such issues, working directly with customers and internal departments.
  • Communication and Reporting: Contacts customers directly regarding payment on open accounts receivable, prepares collection letters, spreadsheets, and customer account statements as needed.
  • Credit Limit Management: Recommends credit limits for customers and assesses their creditworthiness, analyzing financial statements and credit agency reports to develop credit limit recommendations.
  • Process Improvement: Coordinates credit activities with all departments, identifies opportunities for process improvement, and implements changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Business Risk Management: Proactively identifies business risks and works closely with sales to resolve and manage them as necessary.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of credit and collections principles and practices.
