Licensed Practical Nurse Resident Care Specialist

The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents at Father Baker Manor Sub Acute. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our registered nurses to administer nursing care and coordinate the activities of our certified nurse assistants.
Responsibilities- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing, and current registration in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Experience: Long-term care experience is preferred, with a minimum of one year of experience in the job to perform in an acceptable manner.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to push, lift, and stand for long periods.
Our residents' care requires a high level of physical exertion, including pushing, lifting, and standing for extended periods. You may also be exposed to disagreeable conditions such as odors, communicable diseases, and injuries from residents or equipment.
