The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents at Father Baker Manor Sub Acute. As a member of our team, you will work closely with registered nurses and certified nurse assistants to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Administer nursing care to designated residents under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Coordinate and support the activities of certified nurse assistants.
- Participate in the direct care of residents, following the specific approaches outlined in the plan of care.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Currently registered in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- One (1) year of experience in the job to perform in an acceptable manner.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to disagreeable conditions, including odors, communicable diseases, and injuries from residents or equipment. You must be able to lift and push residents, and be on your feet for most of the day.
