Position Summary:
The role of an Active Directory Engineer involves a deep understanding of Microsoft infrastructure design and development, focusing on messaging and directory services best practices. The ideal candidate will possess advanced systems engineering skills, with a proven track record in managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting high-availability environments, specifically with Exchange Server versions 2013, 2016, and 2019, as well as Active Directory for Windows Server 2012/2016/2019.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Cloud Authentication Expertise: Proficient in implementing single sign-on and federation solutions, with hands-on experience in Azure AD, MFA, SecureAuth, and OKTA.
- Identity Management: Manage privilege account lifecycle and provide guidance on identity governance and administration, ensuring compliance with least privilege principles.
- Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support utilizing knowledge of IAM systems and assist with integration and administration of various systems.
- Software Management: Responsible for the installation of software updates, evaluating patches, and resolving software-related issues.
- Security Technologies: Implement and manage information security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools.
- Scripting and Automation: Utilize scripting languages such as Perl and PowerShell for tool automation and process improvements.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
- 6-10 years of experience as a messaging and Active Directory Enterprise Subject Matter Expert.
- Strong background in designing and building Active Directory and Exchange servers.
- Expertise in LDAP systems and PowerShell scripting.
- In-depth knowledge of email routing, security, and hygiene services.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
