Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Team Lead to join our team. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing food preparation and sales, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage food preparation and sales to maximize profits and meet customer demands.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the food preparation area and customer service areas.
- Adhere to company marketing and merchandising programs to promote sales and customer engagement.
- Perform job-related duties as assigned by management, including inventory management and cash handling.
- Reflect Weigel's image by interacting with customers, employees, vendors, and management in a professional manner.
- Ability to read and write English, solve practical problems, and basic math skills.
- Ability to work with customers, respond to inquiries or complaints, and communicate operational issues to management.
- Good organizational skills, ability to stay focused, and professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to work with other associates as a team.
- Background screen and drug test required for this position.
- Prior deli/restaurant experience, inventory control, and ordering.
