About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Clinic Counselor to join our team at FLACRA. As a vital member of our team, you will provide case management and therapeutic services to individuals in need of addiction treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine client treatment needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to client needs.
  • Manage intake and client caseload using professional judgment and consult on treatment techniques as needed.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community groups, referral sources, and service agencies.
  • Participate in community presentations and training programs to promote addiction services and education.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Health or Human Services.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the local behavioral health system.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Health or Human Services.
  • Credentialed as a Qualified Health Professional (CASAC, CASAC-T, CASAC-P).
