Licensed Mental Health Therapist

As a licensed mental health therapist, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our members. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing crisis intervention services, psychotherapy, and education to members and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement treatment plans for members with acute or chronic mental health needs, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each member.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning, ensuring accurate and effective care for our members.
- Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive care and support for our members.
- Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation, contributing to the growth and improvement of our mental health services.
- Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with the necessary endorsements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and teams.
- Knowledge of DSM-V, evidence-based practices, and psychotherapy research methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a licensed mental health professional, preferably in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
- Experience with crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and behavioral medicine.
- Strong commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a multidisciplinary clinic.
