Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing a workforce and providing facilities support contract services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic business and operational plans to ensure efficient productivity and exemplary service.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance, including IDIQ site assessments, recurring work assessments, and closeout of work.
  • Provide reports, briefs, and updates to the Project Manager as necessary.
  • Direct staff, including recruitment, training, compliance, scheduling, and evaluations.
  • Attend meetings and establish a positive, motivated, and productive staff.
  • Maintain financial profitability through proper revenue generation and expense management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Five (5) years' experience in managing a workforce and providing facilities support contract services of a similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • 30 Hour OSHA certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and motivate subordinate employees to attain stated goals and objectives.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs at an intermediate level.
  • Extensive knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Current valid state issued driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
  • Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
