Job Summary

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist at Kaiser Permanente, you will operate advanced diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality images for patient care. Under direct supervision, you will perform a variety of duties that promote a team-oriented environment and reflect the organization's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, utilizing knowledge and skills required for patient care, including routine, emergent, and special procedure examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Administrative Tasks: File work, reception, and computer tasks, including PACs functions, and administer contrast media as directed, in accordance with all policies and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance functions, troubleshoot equipment, restock supplies, and maintain the cleanliness of the assigned room.
  • Patient Care: Assist with patient transport, report equipment malfunctions, and participate in on-call or standby schedules as assigned.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of radiographic equipment and procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
