Position Overview

Wachter is seeking applications for the role of Project Manager within our Nationwide Service & Projects division. This position is based in our Lowell, AR office and focuses on managing projects related to fire and intrusion alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational assistance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering effective solutions.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, security management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, particularly in fire and intrusion alarm systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of the design, installation, and maintenance of alarm systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is essential.

Skills:

  • Project Planning: Strong skills in planning and executing projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with alarm system projects.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills to address technical challenges during project implementation.

Certifications:

  • PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
  • Industry-specific certifications, such as NICET, are advantageous.
