HR Administrator

The HR Coordinator will oversee the administration of the day-to-day operations of the HR function, ensuring seamless employee experiences and efficient HR processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the HR department, providing administrative support and contributing to the development of HR policies and programs.
- Maintain confidential employee files and the HR filing system, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Provide benefits administration support, including processing status changes, invoice reconciliation, and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Coordinate and administer leaves of absence, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, Workers' Compensation, STD, and LTD, in accordance with AdelFi policy and applicable laws.
- Recruit and onboard new employees, posting job advertisements, conducting background searches, and auditing background screening invoices.
- Assist employees and management with the interpretation and application of AdelFi policies, procedures, programs, and practices, exercising confidentiality and professionalism.
- Enter, maintain, and update HR information in the HRIS system, including new hire information, benefit enrollment, and changes.
- Review benefit and other invoices for accuracy, resolving discrepancies with carriers, payroll, and employees.
- Maintain a general knowledge of industry and related legal issues, ensuring AdelFi's compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Identify and report unusual and suspicious activity under the BSA/Anti-Money Laundering Act and comply with OFAC/USA PATRIOT Act and the Customer Identification Program.
- A bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of increasing responsibility in the human resource function.
- Work is primarily conducted remotely from home or approved worksites, with occasional meetings onsite and travel requirements.
- Must maintain awareness of and comply with all relevant policies, regulatory compliance, and assigned training requirements specific to the duties of this position.
