Job Title: Medical Insurance Customer Service Representative

A leading healthcare company in the Chattanooga area is seeking a skilled Medical Insurance Customer Service Representative to join their call center team.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent benefits when hired on.

Job Summary:

As a Medical Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling high-volume calls regarding healthcare information, medical claims processing, and billing/collections services.

You will provide financial guidance to patients, families, and third-party representatives, and function as a liaison between patients and their insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle high-volume calls regarding healthcare information, medical claims processing, and billing/collections services.
  • Provide financial guidance to patients, families, and third-party representatives.
  • Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility coverage for drug benefits.
  • Function as a liaison between patients and their insurance companies.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in medical customer service.
  • Active listening and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Ability to work in a smoke-free environment.
