Bakery Specialist

• Set up and stock Bakery workstations to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and adhere to quality control schedules.
• Prepare and bake fresh products from scratch, meeting the high standards of Farmer Joes Market LLC.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, free from safety hazards.
• Restock and assist with inventory as needed.
• Execute merchandising standards consistent with company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Food Handling/Safety Certification preferred but not required.
• Able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Experience in a bakery environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Displays strong creative skills, able to suggest alternatives and be open to feedback.
• Extensive knowledge of food safety, including knowledge of the danger zone, temperature control, storage, and logs.
• Must have strong knife skills and other kitchen utensils.
• Expertise in baking.
• Must display strong leadership skills.
• Able to provide clear instructions in a respectful and professional manner.
• Create a motivational environment.
• Able to work varied shifts, including mid-shift rotations.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently, be organized, and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Able to physically lift 50 pounds or more.
• Must be able to push and pull equipment of various sizes and weights.
• Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility, as well as bend, reach, twist, and squat.
• Ability to work in hot, noisy, and close conditions.
• Able to work with various fresh products without negative allergic consequences.
